When you inquire about our services, LeeAnn has been told that she puts people at ease when they are shy about talking about music, not knowing much about the composers or musical terms. She is patient and enjoys helping people find music they love, or for that certain “mood” they want to portray at their event. So don’t worry if you’re unsure what would work for your special day, LeeAnne is there to help. Give her one composer or one song title, and she can build on that style and find what makes you happy.

What’s so special about live music?

People who choose recorded music, don’t realize that they are missing how live musicians can taper off or extend music in special circumstances (like a bride’s entrance), when the timing is never exact for a walk, no matter how many times rehearsed. Only live musicians can extend or shorten music most beautifully, without it sounding like a “fade out” or an abrupt stop in the middle of a phrase. About Chenoweth Musicians

Violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth, formerly employed by the Ft. Worth Symphony Orchestra, founded Chenoweth Musicians in 2007. After leaving FWSO to produce her own concerts, Timeless Concerts, she further developed her business of contracting musicians for special events.

Hiring musicians who are most deserving of performance work is very satisfying for Chenoweth. She understands the importance of hiring only the best musicians for wedding music or other private events, whether background music to set a certain mood or music that will be in the spotlight for a special moment, such as the entrance of a bride. Our professional music arranger can accommodate special requests.

We are primarily classical musicians, although we do have a fairly large pops library, carefully selected for what sounds best with string instruments. Classical composers composed music for the instruments to really sing. Popular songs are written for pop artists; classical instruments are not the intended ensemble, so we are not quick to add just any pop song to our library, as we strive to play what sounds great for string ensembles. We are happy to add a new song (for a fee) to our library if we feel it will be right for our ensemble. If the song has a lot of electronic sound effects, reverb,
percussion, etc., we might feel it won’t translate well to a string ensemble. We want to be the right musicians for you, sounding the very best we can for your special event!

Chenoweth Musicians perform special music for events that are meaningful for those who hire us. It is truly a joy! We have experienced professional string players, vocalists, pianists, and harpists providing music of many styles and eras. Our performers have been heard on the stages of Bass Hall, the Winspear, and the Meyerson. Our professional music arranger can accommodate special requests if the music is not already published for the instrumental ensemble you choose, as is often the case with popular music.

We are happy to help brides go through the music selection process for their special day, or help plan music for a party with a particular theme, as we have a large music library of various countries from classical to popular; international music such as Italian Neapolitan songs to Latin tangos, musicals to movie themes. However, we are primarily classical musicians, although we have a fairly large pops library, carefully selected for what sounds best with string instruments. Classical composers composed music for the instruments to really sing. Popular songs are written for a pop artist; classical instruments are not the intended ensemble, so we are not quick to add just any pop song to our library. We strive to play what sounds great with string ensembles.
